I have often seen references on here to ship's passenger lists. Can anyone tell me where to look them up and whether or not you need to know when the passage took place and the destination? |

I was afraid the answer would be Ancestry, as I don't have a subscription - Findmypast either! Unfortunately, I don't know exactly, as there are 2 family stories I am trying to pin down. |

Apologies for the delay - couldn't get back to this before. Maureen and Cassy, thank you! The entry in 1911 is almost certainly him! He was born in Shifnal in 1853 and had ( as far as I know) 9 children. In all other records he is an ironmonger - even on his death certificate, but I can believe traveller in cattle food! He was married in 1876. |

I would like to pass on thanks from other members of my family who are also trying to track down Samson's movements! |
