Sarah I have exactly the same scenario, I have all my tree on Ancestry so can't help with GR, sorry. It doesn't seem to be that unusual an event. |

Joking apart I did hear from someone who is researching one of my wife's lines that they thought they had found a marriage between a brother and sister, and that one had lied about who their father was. |

No I didn't mean marrying each other. The ones in my tree are per Birdsinanest's example.....! |

Whilst GR will happily accept a gedcom containing multiple relationships it won't necessarily display them correctly. This is especially true for brothers and sisters marrying. I have examples in my own tree. |

Unfortunately the GR tree is two dimentional and cannot cope with this problem. Family tree programs on home computers can. |

You can't do it on Genes but if you have a software programme (something like FamilyTreeMaker) then you can add the details on there and then upload a gedcom from there to your Genes tree and it will accept it. |

In my tree i have 2 sisters who both were married to the same man. He married the eldest of the sisters first then when she died he married the younger sister. Im wondering how i display this instead of having to put him down twice? |
