I think you will find Scotland is a part of Liverpool, there is certainly a Scotland Road in Liverpool. |

The simple explanation is that he WAS born in Ireland - while his mother was staying there, maybe visiting relatives. Many women, particularly if it was their first child, would go to their family home for the birth and stay for some time after the birth - there wasn't the extensive support of social services there is today. James's family may have lived in L'pool for 3 generations, but what about his mother's family? |
