Its certainly a possibility, or the family had him christened before moving to East Dereham. I'd look at removal orders too just in case Dad was from East Dereham and was removed there. |

Norfolk record office have an online facility to search for settlement orders. Typically, it's not working at the moment! |

It could be. Have you looked for settlement orders in East Dereham? You may find something in them if the family moved from West Tofts. |
