Can any one tell me is there any way I can find Catholic Baptisums?as lots of my side were Catholics,{not sure if this is the right board or not !!if not please exsept my apology ..regards Jean |

Well they wont be on the Family Search site as the Catholic Church wont release their data to the Mormons. |

I have seen some records of Hampshire Catholic baptisms in the Record Office in Winchester, ...not many though. |

It's not true of the church in general - there are catholic records on the LDS site(s). I think the decision was made at a lower level - maybe the diocese or even the parish. |

I have done a few lookup in Catholic registers in Lancs rceord office and am amazed at the amount of information recorded on some of them - a genealogists dream. the only thing I have found to beat it for information are some police records. |
