ancestry - they are adding stuff all the time, so I have to keep subbing (6 years now). |

Do be aware that The Genealogist has a very dracnoian "fair use" policy. |

There are essentially three levels of subscription - rates shown are for one year |

I'm in the same boat and you are confusing me now! Which Ancestry one shall I ask Santa for? |

If you just need UK then go for Ancestry Essentials. I have had Premium for a year but found the extra subscription a complete waste of money as there was nothing extra (mainly parish records that is) I couldn't get elsewhere for free |

Ancestry every time. Easy to search, has English and Welsh. You can put your tree on there. If you have mainly English & Welsh then you probably don't need a world wide sub. Ancestry has unlimited access and you can get a 14 day free trial. |

I am wanting to subscribe to an on-line database and cannot decide between Ancestry, Genealogist and Findmypast. My family is predominantly from England with a very small Welsh contingient. Can anyone advise which of the above is the best for me to subscribe to (or are there others?). |
