Ancestry.. London banns & marriage query please

I came across one couple who had the banns read three times! And I couldn't find a marriage for them ... All very curious. I put it down to them constantly arguing/falling out! |

WAs she a minor at the reading of the first set of banns? It could simply be that the wedding was delayed and banns had to be read again. |

I have found the marriage banns for Simeon Brimelow Hargreaves and Mary Ann Barnes in April 1872 St Mary Islington however on the marriage register 15/04/1872 the entry is crossed out. |
