i am thinking of changing my desk top as the one i have is playing up it,s running xp so am changing to windows will i still be able to see my family tree that i have on g/r thank you in advance |

Yes you can view your tree on GR from any pc. Just log on to GR with your user name and password . Your tree is stored at GR not in your pc. |

Yes ancestry would also be the same , but a word of advice before logging in to ancestry from a different pc...make sure you sign out of ancestry on your old pc before signing in using your new pc, as ancestry may lock you out as it thinks multiple pc's are trying to sign in to your account. It happened to me once and I had to contact ancestry to get a password to sign in again. |

hi hawk wind my xp is playing up when i try to connect to any link ,s that come up on on outlook express or on sites thgat i use a message come,s up internet explorer is not responding i then have to close the program and start all over again and pray that it work,s . sorry forgot to say thinking of getting windows vista home basic. |

I gave up on Explorer and use Google Chrome. Never had a problem. |

Yes, I agree about browser choice as well. I have both IE8 and Firefox 3.5 installed but invariably use Firefox as I also find it more reliable and that bit faster. |
