I am trying to get my parent's marriage certificate but GRO are asking for the date in dd/mm/yy format all I know is that the marriage took place during the quarter of Apr/May/June 1932. Where else can I look for the actual date? |

Are they asking because you have not put the volume number and page number on your request. You must enter this on your request - are you ordering online. Irene |

When you fill in the form online there is a question "Is the GRO Reference Known?" This is always set on "no" and you need to tick the "yes" box otherwise they will ask for full details of the date. |
