There is another tree owner on GR who has Frederick Annetts born Bradfield in his tree so it might also be worth sending him a message.

If you use the Search Trees facility above and put in the details of the person you can then click on the tree owners name and send them a message.

Have you got a copy of Francis' birth certificate? This will give more information on his parents and will help trace them in 1901.

Alternatively Francis' marriage certificate will give the name and occupation of his father which will help in the search.

Have you looked at the original of the 1911? Jesseal seems like an odd name for the father and it could be a mistranscription. It would be very useful to know what the correct name is and where he and Elizabeth were born.

EDIT - they've probably been mistranscribed on the 1901 so the birth information and correct name for Francis' father from the 1911 would be useful to try and trace them.

NinjaLaday

Thank you for your reply

Why do they not show up on the 1901 census ?

And you found them on 1911 census

Many Thanks
