Is there any way I can find information anout a name change around 1909 and onwards. Samuel J. Hume to Hartwell. |

You may be lucky, but you don't necessarily have to go through any official procedure to change your name, now or in the past. You can call yourself what you like. |

I was afraid of that. This person has been drivimg me mad for ages and just found the info but wanted to make sure he officially changed his name. |
