Can anyone tell me where to look to find out about soldiers serving in the Boer War? My great-gramdfather undoubtedly fought in this war but so far I have drawn a blank other than knowing he was in the 2nd Manchester regiment. |

His records might be on Ancestry if he went on to serve in WW1. Otherwise they will be at the National Archives if they have survived. |

The GRO have a war register of Boer War deaths, but I don't know where it's indexed (in case you wanted to buy a d.cert and avoid the search fee). |
