I have been searching for months on various sites to find info on my gt.gt. grandparents Thomas Johnson b.about 1799 & Mary Copley b. about the same time,I think in Yorkshire. I have a birth certificate for their daughter Ann Johnson who was born 1840 in Wortley Yorkshire & she married my gt. grandfather Robert Bawn.Robert was born in Oldland Gloucestershire but then at some point in the 1860's he was living in Northumberland as some of their children were born in Northumberland however, some of their children were born in Yorkshire including my grandfather Alfred Bawn he was b. in 1879 in Leeds. I have not been able to find a marriage cert for Robert & Ann |

It is possible but the birth cert is definitely Ann & she on the 1841 & 1851 census. It ia about the right year though as their first child was born in 1863.Thanks for the info - perhaps the only way to be sure is to send for a certificate |
