Uploading new tree on Ancestry

I know that if you upload an updated family tree onto Genes your old one is automatically overwritten, but does anyone know if the same thing happens on Ancestry or do you somehow have to delete your old tree first. I have managed to get back several more generations through visiting various record offices so it all needs updating. |
