Great. You have probably had a look at the info. You are able to access the documents to which that the entry refers. Just click on the control symbol and follow the prompts which will take you to an order form. If the reference already has the digital image icon on it you already have access to the contained info. |

Thanks very much - found him. He was in the record search because he served in the military between 1939 and 1948. May not have been exactly what I was looking for but I know I've got the right chap because his brother is listed as next-of-kin and still lives at the same address |

Try searching the National Archives of Australia. You may do it as a guest researcher. Here is the web site. |

I'm hoping to meet his brother in the next couple of weeks for the first time. So I'm all a-flutter trying to get photos together to show him of other family members. |
