If you chose not to renew your paid membership you are still a GR member, but revert to being a Free Member, rather than a Standard or a Gold Member.

If you decide in the future to re-subscribe, then there is no requirement to re-register with a new membership number, but that is not to say that some folks don't

KB and JC are one and the same member

If someone's membership runs out and then they rejoin at a later date, presumably they get a new number? They can also hide their personal data too.

Janey Evie and Kathryn B are all the same person she has never hidden this fact.
Im sure she will pop up at some point like the rest of us real life gets in the way of genealogy at times

Hello all,

I'm not sure that Evie and Janey are the same person to be honest. However, rather than discuss this on a public site, has anyone thought about sending Evie a private message to see if she is ok?

Re change of name, Kathryn did make it public at the time when she changed it but I don't think she likes all this discussion around it which I can understand.

Janey & Eavie do not have the same memb no but one of them may be laughing up her sleeve at us!

Ah, so EB and JC are the same, I thought so (where's that post gone now??) Didn't know about the Kathryn bit though.

Golly, what will she call herself next - can't keep up with her name changes at all - it's her style of reply which gives it away I find. Very intrepid and thorough researcher .

I think I remember Eavie posting some while ago that she was not renewing her membership - pity as she helped an awful lot of people

I think she can still receive pm's if her name is in your contact list
