Weird a ? I've always had a completely open mind about ALL unexplained phenomena. Until conclusive evidential proof to the contrary is found, I will give the whole subject matter some credence. And the main reason for that is very simple---Thousands of examples given, by thousands of people, over thousands of years. If only one example can be proved beyond doubt, the whole business will be accepted by the majority---not all of course, because many people are scared of the consequences---and that includes MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ta Ta.

Arfermo............... spooky, well let me tell you this story.

When I was 11 my father bought the old "church" house....... this house was a place for people with nowhere else to go.

It was filthy, a complete wreck. so he gutted it completely and we moved in about 6 months later.

It was a long house, the front door was on the side of the house and the back door further down the same side as the front door.

The kids at school mum went shopping with my Aunt and Grandmother, when they returned mum put the key in the back door...... the key turns but she can't get in....... Aunty looks through the kitchen window " You silly s*d you put the bottom and top bolt on!!!"

They all came out of that door, not the front door.......... the front door was NEVER used and there was a hall table blocking the door!!!

Then one winter Dad used the warm water out of the kettle to clear the windscreen on the car, just got half way down the outside passage and ... SHUM.........SHUM. "Silly woman she's pushed the bolts across and I'm out here with the kettle!!"

Mum and kids were all safely (????) tucked up in bed!!!!

We moved shortly after that. I wonder why???

This is TRUE, mum and dad wouldn't make this up.

About fifteen years ago, in mid December, we had some friends over for a pre-Christmas gathering (they were going to Canada for the Xmas) we obviously had a few drinks but---this sobered us up a bit. Now--this event IS from a friend of a friend but--a good reliable person. The previous Christmas, they thought they would hire a traditional cottage in the country and get away from the 'modern' world. When they settled into their Herefordshire cottage, on the second morning--about Dec 22/23rd, their little daughter aged about 3yr ( she later said ) had a little girl come into her bedroom in the night. In short--she woke up, it was dark outside, although she had a low nightlite on. ( i must point out that her elder sister age 6 or 7 was sleeping in the same room, in her own bed, but heard or saw nothing). She looked to the bottom of her bed, and stood silently and not moving, was a little girl about her size and age , clutching a very scruffy rag doll or possibly straw. She was dressed in 'Funny old clothes'. The discriptions were gained from 'our' girl with great care, trying not to plant information that was'nt in her mind. From what we could gather, this image was of a medieval child, dressed in rags, and seemed facinated with the modern girls dolls ,that were at the foot of her bed. When she asked the 'apparition' her name, she disappeared in the blink of an eye. She reappeard the night before they returned home, an exact repeat performance. It all came out casually a week later when she kept reffering to 'Bessie'. Little children often make up 'little friends' and talk to them openly but--the detail was impressive, ( with a little prompting from her mom) and for a 3yr old, she was very good with her drawing and colours, and drew , not a modern childs clothes, but clearly very old styles---hood, dress to the floor, a kind of shawl or rag , she could'nt see her feet . After about a month, she forgot all about it. I did'nt watch the usual ghost stories on TV that year.

Yes I remember that one Denise , but the only thing I Can add is that the Island beach was also the only landing / take-off strip for air traffic. ,which the boy described in detail--the only one in the whole of Britain I believe .As usual, with all unexplained phenonmena, the establishment press swing into action with their well-oiled debunking system, ridiculing excellent witnesses , and turning it all into a joke. No attempt at offering a sane and sensible alternative explanation.

Hi,

was just reading about the Bloxham Tapes, wasn't familiar with these so just checked them out.............. very, very interesting!!!

I once watch a programme about a young boy he kept saying that his mother was his 2nd mother............ he told of a previous live on a Scottish Island, where he lived with his mother, father and 2 other siblings............ I'm so annoyed that I can't remember what it was called, anyway the outcome was that they took the boy to the Island, he went straight to this old house and said that was where he lived, he remembered his dogs name and everything!!!!

An older person from the Island remembered the family........ I think it was their holiday home and his father was a doctor. anyway as the boy got older these "Feelings" and "Knowings" disappeared.

They say that the young are more subsepticle to things!!

Ann of Green Gables---I'm glad you mentioned the 'sailor'. Another good'un was the young woman who said she was a royal? or some high position in a French Castle/ Chattaue. And she had never been to France in her 'life' , had no concious knowledge of this place at all. and yet--she could describe all the rooms, the furnishings and decor (for that period) It took great deal of time and trouble to locate a very rare and valuable -huge book, that had illustrations of these rooms and their furnishings etc. which---were not in the public domain AT ALL. There was no way she could have obtained this knowledge outside specialist circles. The detail of her recollections were startlingly accurate. When she as taken to the very place after the programme, she was telling the crew what was round the next corner etc.. ---------

I believe the Bloxham tapes - one of his "victims" for regression was an ITV Wales cameraman who was working on the recording of the show - the man was transgressed back to when he was a sailor in the Napoleonic War - he used old naval terminology that had to be checked out - he reached a point where he had his leg shot off by a cannon and had to be brought back toute suite. The York story was one of many - there were others which were also proved to be true

Hello Denise--I hope you are well, I'm still pootling about---not in public of course, although they can't touch ya for it---yet. How did this strange 'TIP' get started? It must be this lousey weather, we're all huddled together here round the campfire-telling each other scary stories and too timid to be the first one to leave on his own----or is that just me? Great info about Bloxham--very plausable, who's to know different?

PaulaW

PaulaW Report 22 Jul 2009 16:28

Regarding the Bloxham Tapes and his writings regression. I think it was deemed to be fabricated. Although I vaguely remember reading it years ago.

I also believe in De ja Vu or fate whatever you want to call it.

But for sheer coincidence. A friends of mind who used to live in my village had a good friends who emigrated to Oz i also had a friends who imigrated to OZ. Yes you have guessed it. The two of them met up for coffee and on discussionabout England the conversations went......my friends lives in ..........village so does mine said the other friend.

So why they were having a coffee down under the english contingency were having a good old gossip in the UK.

Hope that makes sense

Hi Afermo - Arnall Bloxham lived just up the road from me here in Cardiff - a fascinating man - he had a lovely thatched birdhouse in his front garden which he made himself - no one had taught him how to thatch - he said he just knew it!!! He wrote a fascinating book which I read called "Who was Anne Ockenden" a friend of his who he took back through about eight different lives. She had been both man and woman in previous lives and it was his theory that a man who was gay had been a female more times in his past life than a man, and vice versa for women - something to think about!!!

Hi Arfermo,

You keeping well???

I would love to be transgressed, I do strong beleive that there is something for us after we pass.

Another little story.......... I met a young chap when I was 17, he was 23, but very old for his years.......... so hence I called him Uncle Dan!!!

I had started to see my future husband about 12 months later, uncle Dan then told me that it was his twin brother... well I fell about laughing, twins. they looked nothing alike!!! I then married my chap (uncle Dan's twin) and guess what.... Uncle Dan is the uncle to my children!!!

Talking of De Ja Vu. Does anyone remember the Bloxham Tapes?---recordings of people hypnotised into transgretion ? is that the right word? where they can remember previous lives, and actually relive scenes from them while being recorded. Obviously---this is an area that is wide open to charletans and ridicule BUT. One example in particular was very strange, and as far as I know, has never been explained satisfactorily. A man under regretion said he was a jewish moneylender in York, during the 12th century I believe. It was a period of very hard times, bad crop yealds, much starvation. He was being chased by a huge mob of locals. (these pograms--were common when things were bad, and the Jews were always blamed for it, and beaten or killed) He ran into a city church--can't think of its name--but still intact today, and hid in a chamber under the floor of the 'Transcept' I think. Anyway. At the time of the recordings, a check was made of the Church for it's buried chamber, and according to old plans of the church, and local clerical knowledge---there was'nt one there--never had been. By amazing coincidence, restoration work was being carried out on this church, and a few days after the recording had been made, workmen strengthing the stonework under the transcept found a hidden chamber, patially filled in, which clearly had never been in use for many centuries. NOBODY alive, or ANY previously known history of this church had revealed this chamber before------So he could not have researched it beforehand (no google then). Ps. If moneylenders were murdered or just died in those days, the dept would die with them. A nice incentive to clobber them. When the whole town was owing money, nobody is going to sqwark.

had a couple of coincidences with my name

was admitted to hospital late one night as an emergency - arrived at my bed to find my name Ann Sullivan already on it - then discovered the lady who had just vacated it was also Ann Sullivan!!!

In M & S one afternoon heard over the P>A> system - Will Mrs Sullivan please come to Customer Services - panic set in as I raced there to discover another Mrs Sullivan beat me to it - she had lost her bus pass. We walked out together and I said "My name is Ann" "So's mine she said" She then said "I know another Ann Sullivan, she writes lots of letters to the local newspaper" "That's me" I said. "Glad to have met you at last she said - I'm always getting the blame for them

De Ja Vu is the strangest thing ever and i get it so often!

I think your stories are great............ call in intuition, gut feeling or whatever. I definatley believe that there are greater forces at work.

De ja Vu, how can that be explained??

My story isn't of meeting a long lost relative/friend or someone similar, but meeting someone I never knew..... but I did???

To cut the story short, about 15 years ago my husband was in hospital, I was just leaving after visiting him. I came to the main exit where a gentleman, maybe 20 years older than myself looked at me, at that instance I knew I knew him, and I knew in the look of his eyes that he knew me, we held a gaze for a few minutes and then I left.

I bitterley regret leaving that day, I KNOW I knew him, I so wished I had spoken to him........... but being a young girl of 21, I was too shy.

To this day I could describe every detail of him, there was such a strong draw there that I strongly beleive I had met him before and knew him well.

You maybe thinking, well I bet it was an old friend of her parents or something alike............... 15 years of racking my brain, asking and describing him to my parents.... nobody the family knew!!!!
