Would anyone be able to explain what kind of Churches the following are in Scotland, ie are they Presbyterian etc. |

It appears they are breakaway churches from the original Presbyterian |

They all lived in the same part of Scotland so I wonder if it caused them angst at the time! |

They are all presbyterian. The latter two are the same - the Church of Scotland was the established church. |

I think folk just went to the nearest church to where they were living to be married. Not all were married in the actual building but the minister would have performed the ceremony according to the rights of the particular church. |
