Just a thought, it could be that Mrs Woolgar and Mrs Hickmott were sisters, therefore you would find a Woolgar/Hickman marriage, but a Woolgar/"Smith" (or whatever) marriage and a Hickmott/"Smith" one. |

i've searched free bmd for marrages between woolgars and hickmotts but theres none found. previous woolgar census show no other hickmotts living with them. was really hoping to find some info as it was much cheeper than a certificate, oh well it was worth a try, jim thanks for info i will order a certificate at somepoint however i'm on a strict budget so looks like i'll be waiting a while for my answers!!!! thanks all for your help. |

You should have spent your money on a certificate. |

just forked out to find out parents of edith hickmott born in 1910, only to find out that at the age of 1 she was living with a diffrent family. she was listed as a boarder, is this normal? does this mean she is not a relative or adopted? she is down as a hickmott all the others are woolgars. |
