Hello,

I use the site regulary and as long as you know their full name and a rough year of birth you should be able to find them on there.

I have found my gt grandfather on there and most of his brothers and sisters and also found the whole family on the 1901 and 1911 census.

Whats the surname of those you are researching?

Irish Gel.

All i know is my paternal and maternal ancestors came from Ireland. But i don't if it was Northern or Southern Ireland.

I am guessing Southern for my paternal as they were Catholics.

I do not have personal experience of the site...what is it you are searching for? 5 euro seems a lot to me - maybe someone on here can help without the potentially huge cost

I have joined the Irish family history foundation. I would like to know if anyone on this site had tried it. If so were you able to find what you were looking for.

Only asking as at 5euros a look it can be pretty expensive if i cannot find anything out,
