remember that parents had 6 weeks to register a birth, so a birth at end November / December of one year could well be registered in the March quarter of the following year which looks like what has happened here |

looking for my grandad name reginald allenby walker, born 09/12/1917, i have found his death certificate (died jan 1991) that doesnt tell me anymore, but my dad said reginald was born in gloucester and there is only record of manchester and stoke for that year. is it possible not to be on an a register. thanks in advance for any help x |
