As Dianne says Gateshead is only a river widths away from Newcastle. Perhaps if she died in hospital that was where the hospital was located. |

There is a Sarah A Kelly listed for Gateshead, but she is listed as being 72 years old. The age could well be wrongly transcribed though. |
