WW1 /2 death certs

I have seen some say it isnt worth while getting death certs for WW casualties as it wont tell you any more than the info on CWGC. This isnt always the case and may well be worth getting certs. |

You order from the GRO. On the first page it will ask you what type of certificate. Remember to tick the "overseas deaths" and tick "yes" when it asks if you have the GRO reference. |

Only from memory (it's a while since I ordered mine) they take about the same amount of time as any certificate. |

Sorry i didnt reply to you Sue.The last time i looked at this thread it only had the one reply.Just looked in again and saw the additional . I ordered on the 2nd May with other certs and the despatch was down for 11th May. Was pleased to get this one cert yesterday the 8th so am hoping for more today in the post. |
