News reports today inform of the beginning of the recovery of about 400 British and Australian troops who fell at Pheasant Wood, Fromelles, France in WW1. |

Full recovery of the remains should be completed by the end of September - various methods will be used to identify the bodies. The remains will be washed and placed in a temporary mortuary until such time as they are given the burial they deserve |
