Deleting family members from my Tree

Delete the extra partner that has no children. If necessary change the name and details for the other to what it should be. |

You have to use the 'mother' box to put in the info.......otherwise you'll get the 'doubling-up' to which you refer. The box is created by the system as soon as you enter someone's father's details. |

Can anyone explain how I can delete names I have doubled up? Also I seem to get an empty mother box, for example, then another one with the name in. I am confused. Please help. |
