Old Electoral Rolls, Can Anyone Help?

Hi, im trying to locate a searchable electoral roll from 1968, does anyone know if this is possible, and if so where id find it?? Thanks in advance Sam |

Older electoral registers are usually kept at the nearest reference library to the address you have. They are searchable by address and not surname. |

try the libary in the area you are looking for they should have them or can tell you where to look. |

Thanks for your replies, looks like that route may be a non starter as all i have is a name a year and a place, no idea on address. Im trying to trace a female but dont know if she has married since, so was hoping to trace yearly through the old eletoral rolls. I guess i need to find a plan B! |

It might still be worth getting in touch with the library in the area. Some staff are better than others and may be willing to hunt through the area to see if they can find the name. The worst that can happen is that they say no, so it's worth a try. |
