I am hoping that someone out there may be able to advise me on how to trace information on Missionary work done by someone. My Husband’s Grandfather was reportedly in China during the 1920-1930 working as a missionary. We have contacted several Church and Mission Agencies but with No luck. |

Was he attached to a specific church Laura. The one that springs to mind is the CMS - Church Missionary Society which works with the Anglican church around the world. You can google for more info. Maybe he was 'freelance?' |

Hi Laura, I have a relation who was a Methodist Missionary in China, 1880s - 1913. I have some names of Methodist organisations that sent out missionaries, however I don't know if any of them still exist. |
