Sue in Somerset has collected a list of useful web addresses on thiis Tips Board - I have nudged it and it is the one above your thread at the time of typing! It includes a lot of regional collections of parish recordds, etc. |

Before 1837 you have to use parish records. You can find some of these on the International Genealogical Index (IGI) which you will find on www.familysearch.org |

Hi can anyone help me I have traced my family back to around 1800 but when I try and get any more information it states that I can only get info from 1837 upwards how has anyone managed to get further back or do I have to use another site it would be great to hear from anyone Dee |
