Barbara, I use the edit button quite often. It's usually not until I post my message that I notice I've made a spelling error. I use the edit button to correct it then submit again. Likewise the delete button if I post something then find that someone else has posted the same information I just delete my message. Then, of course, as has been explained, if you're at the bottom of the page and want to add a message just hit "add" and it takes you to the top of the page where the "reply" button is. But then it seems that doesn't work for everyone.

OK I have sussed it now. I usually use Firfox and it doesn't work, ie does nothing. Tried IE and it does what you say, goesw to the top of the page.

Perhaps it is intended to allow the poster to add something. I'll see.

Island, It obviously works for some and not others.

It does not take me to the top of the page but pressing the "home" key does.

I'm using XP and Internet Explorer.

Thing is,Island, at the start of the thread, neither David, or I, had any idea what the Add button was supposed to do, at all.

Think I'm putting it all together, now, though.
