I am trying to find a way of obtaining a death cert of a person who died in London in 1818. Not only that but find her husbands death. The lady in question is Keila or Kitty or Katherine Cantor. I know there is a mention of her at the Great Synagogue but no date etc, as for her husband Aaron Jacob Cantor, I have no idea of how to preceed and find where he originally came from or what happened to him. Any ideas? |

There weren't any death certificates prior to 1837 in England. The best you can hope to find is a record of the burial - but I'm not sure where Jewish records would be kept. |
