Aloysius is certainly an Irish name, probably Catholic. |

I'm trying to trace my late grandfather. He was born approx. 1898. He married my grandmother in 1921 but his address given on his marriage certificate was where he was employed. I have tried that avenue but with no success. His name is William Aloysius Butcher and I believe he may have been born in Ireland. After my Grandmother died he remarried a lady called Edna Crook. Any help gratefully appreciated. Lynn |
