I have EDWIN WALDRON 1861, born in Eldersfield in the 1901,1891 with wife and children and again in the 1881 census alone as a live-in farm servant with another family (approx 19yrs). |

This looks like Elizabeth Waldron in 1861 now married to John Portman. |

OMGosh! Does that mean that mother Elizabeth in the 1851 census was actually his grandmother and by the looks of it in the census you found Elizabeth in the 1851 was infact a pregnant Betsy in the 1861. |

These record makers love to make things difficult for us don't they. It's unbelievable how many spelling variations there are.I know they probably are mistakes but could the families have actually spelt it this way. |
