Divorce records at TNA actually go up to 1937. |

For divorces between 1858 and 1927 nearly all the paperwork has survived and its stored at the national archives. You can search online at the National archives website in the J77 range, its indexed by name. If you do find what you are looking for at the NA then you can order and pay online and copies of the paperwork will sent in the post to you or you can download onto computer. |

It very much depends on the date. Before 1927 there are recordsat the National Archives at Kew plus some later ones for London. Recent material is held by the courts. |
