I have a John B Ingram born c1845 who married a Mary A ?. I am trying to locate their marriage but where to start.. He was born Cheshire, she was born Kent, and they lived in Berkshire when they were married (1881), 10 years prior he was living with his mum so they would have been married (if they did of course!) between 1871 and 1881 ... their first child was born 1875 .. so on this assumption it would narrow it down to between 1871 and 1875. |

If it is the birthcert of one of their children that you are waiting for, that will give you the mother's maiden name which should help you find the marriage. |
