Have a look at this site, in case any of your family are mentioned. |

Joy I have the NBI edition 2 my family come from Walsall, Wednesbury and other districts around there. Unfortunatley the NBI was a waste of money for those areas haven't found one so far. |

Thank you Pete for your reply. I will keep that infor. on hand as I am searching that area as all my family came from there. I have had great success with the National Burial Index and found the relative buried in Wednesbury before 1837. Much appreciated. |

Unitl recently there was a searchable datbase on the familyhistoryonline website. Sadly this pay to view site has closed and some (but not all ) of the records transferred to Find My past. |

Tracey, thank you. I will have a look for nat.burial index. Sorry didn't say I was in Australia. Not sure if they have that sort of research in libraries out here but will investigate. I am a newy. The area I am looking at is Staffordshire, around Darleston/Walsall. Thanks so much. Joy |

You might be lucky if the region you are researching is covered by the National Burial Intex. It is searchable on Findmypast or for free if your local library has a set iof the discs. |

Would appreciate it if anyone can tell me where you can find deaths around 1829 to 1833. Do you then have to go to the local archives? |
