from freebmd
Marriages Mar 1881 (>99%) >>>>>BERESFORD Henry Erpingham 4b 85 Fox Laura Catherine Erpingham 4b 85 >>>>>PENTNEY Sophia Erpingham 4b 85 Todd Leonard Erpingham 4b 85
what you do on freebmd to find the other partner is click on the page number (ie, 85) and it brings up the 4 names (hopefully anyway!).
As you know her name was Sophia, he must have married Sophia Pentney
The same thing happens on ancestry, except you have to click on View Record, then click on page number.

I am in New Zealand visiting a cousin and have offered....trust me....to look up info for my cousins wife. I have hit a problem and a new thought on this would be very much apprecated.
I have found the marriage of the grandfather.....
Henry Moore Beresford Erpingham (Norfolk) JFM 1881 4b 85
We only have the Christian name of the grandmother, so I entered this info...
Sophia 1881 Erpingham........and found the following
Sophia Susannah Fox Erpingham JFM 4b 95
With just the page number being different, and this marriage would have taken place in a rural Norfolk area, is it possible that the page number has been miss-transcribed???????
I will be on my way home to the UK next Tuesday and would love to be able to give info to my cousins wife that she had no knowledge of.
In anticipation
Kathlyn
