My great grandfather was a soldier in WW1 who died in France of influenza. His death certificate simply state cause of death as influenza and gives the location of hospital in France in which he died. |

Have you found the death indexed in the GRO index of Army deaths in WW1. If not post the details (Name age Unit etc) and I will look it up on the relevant index. If he is buried in Berlin he died in German custody. I don't know if those deaths are in the GRO index - but it's worth checking. |
