If the Fathers name and surname is missing on a wedding certificate, would that mean that person was illigitimate? |

Yes,. it could be blank cos he was dead, or blank cos the person didn't know his name (either through illegitimacy or through him dying before he was too young to remember). His mother might have remarried but he knew his stepfather was not his real father, so didn't have him recorded either. |

What I meant James, is did you find him living with parents as a child? |
