Hi there, hopefully someone is still up!
I received a birth cert this morning and on the part where i says where and when the birth was it just states the date, town (Ashdon) and then R.S.D.
It maybe completely obvious but not to me!
Thanks in advance

Ashdon is partly in Safron-waldon district Essex and partly Linton district Cambridge. So I would guess at Registrar Saffron District.
