How to find Christian name with only Nickname

Just to clarify....
Was that your grandparents' names ?
What was your father's first name?
Do you know the names of any of the other children?

Thanks All I know was Father George, Mother Florence, I was only born 1939 and lost all contact after 1946

How old was Jum then?
If he was of voting age, he might be listed in old electoral lists.

If you'd like to post their mother's maiden name here ( or pm if you wish ) it might be possible to work out his name if you've some idea of birth year and possible place.

I must admit that it sounds like Jim when said with some accents. Have to looked for births for a James Strudwick in the area, It is a reasonably unusual surname

Where can I find The people living in 22 Medway Road Bethnal Green during 1935/45, with the name Strudwick, Jum (nickname) was youngest of 4 children, eldest brother was my father, Jum moved to Australia and serching for him ,but without christian name can't, please help
