Well I never!!!!!
Thank you all for the info.
My sub runs out on 15th Feb.
I decided not to renew as the exchange rate isn't good, it worked out at about 83.40 pounds = $240.00nz.
Have just signed up with the AU site with Heritage collection, $74.98au = $95.50nz. great saving.
It is a case of the late night bird catching the worm.
Sending you all some of our heatwave with thanks
Mrs Puddleduck

Have just tried to upgrade my membership as I have found lots of my ancestors went to Oz and US but when I went to the link to upgrade the charges were coming up as $149.95 for UK.heritage and $449 for Worldwide Heritage, no mention of half price offer. Could somebody tell me if this is usual as didn't want topress the upgrade button to pay and then find I had been charged £205!!!!
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Barbara

You have to go in to Ancestry via the site kindly given by Glen -

Barbara

Did you use the link that Heather posted?

http://landing.ancestry.com.au/intl/au/newidea.aspx

I just tried it and the page is still there with the 50% reduction.

Once you have signed on for the subscription you will need to go back later and check your account as you will need to cancel your original sub if you haven't already done so before they renew it. This is what I had to do.

Moonbeam.

Thanks Terri and Moonbeam. I went through the link from Heather, the page was there but was just a bit hesitant to sign up for the subscription in case they charged me full price, but will now proceed knowing it is safe.

Thanks again

My dads subscription ran out last October, he could not afford to re-new, I even emailed to say as much when he cancelled. I thought they would have sent him an offer to entice him back............ but not a sausage!
