St Giles could be of Lincoln, Lincolnshire which doesn't really fit....

Large amount of Beaumonts in Lincoln

St. Giles in the Fields, London

Remember they were living in St Pancras when Hannah was born.

Kevin,

I think I'd start with Leonard's birth cert. first to confirm things.

Rose, Leonard was a twin, and it seems highly unlikely to have another set of twins born in woolwich with identical names... so think were positive on the first charles. thank you tho

Not sure why the transcriber has so many issues with the birth of Charles. It's quite clear on the image:

Births Sep 1862
BEAUMONT Charles Benjamin Greenwich 1d 646

Kevin,

It would confirm Ada's maiden name and also if Charles' middle name was Benjamin.

Ok, may get a copy of leonard then... but the Royal Arsenal link seems a little to good to be coincidence...

I'm little confused by all this info, will have to have a good read through all this.... I know theres not record for a Charles R Beaumont but R and B could easily have got mixed up in translation across to digital image. Witht he rest appearing to fit Charles R could be a mistake R for B
