A person very important to me died in a car accident two weeks ago. She was 47. I hadn't known her for long but she was fascinated by my hobby of researching family history and wanted me to help her with her own family. I know her mother was Scottish and there were lots of family mysteries she wanted to know about. |

Did you know where this lady worked or socialised?....... work colleagues often know peoples birthdays, and details about their families....so sad to die so young, thats my age, and it struck a chord with me, when I read your thread. |

I'm not familiar with the new rules, but do the same rules apply for people who are known to be dead? |

Many thanks to everyone, I now have her parents' marriage info and I thought to google Newcastle newspapers and there is an obituary notice telling me her mother's name was Lillian and she had a brother Wayne who died in 2000 whose birth I have also found and whose mother's maiden name is Campbell. |
