By just getting the transcript you are trusting the transcriptors interpritation of any dodgy hand-writing (which as we have seen on previous censuses, isn't always wise). There have also been stories on these boards of additional info being written on the forms by our ancestors, due to misunderstanding the forms etc, and then crossed out by the enumerator. This will obviously be omitted from the transcript. |

Is it only the information about how many children were born and or died that is missing from the Transcript page compared to the Original page? |
