Having excitedly found a couple of new leads from looking at the 1911 census one ancestor has "popped up" I have now gone back to try and find him and his wife on the 1901 census to see what they were up to then!! |

Thanks Natasha I tried to do a search and found I could put the full name if I went to advanced search, which i did and nothing came up for the Boer war but lots of medal cards for WW1 with the same name as I was after but I thought he might have been a bit old to be serving in WW1 as he would have been nearly 50 by 1914. Anyway it was well worth a look and I now know that I can search for any WW1 enquiries I have!! |
