Does anyone know if it is possible to get copies of coroners inquest reports. I'm interested in something that happened in Hampstead in 1934. I believe the inquest took place at the St. Pancras Coroner's Court. |

This query comes up a lot and the answer is usually, you probably cant. Records were destroyed pretty sharpish and you would only get a tiny synopsis. I got my GGF's inquest report from the local newspaper (1912) and it was fascinating - GGM giving her bit, the policeman who attended, the son who found him. Makes it and them real. |
