Just checked and there was an electoral register in 1918 including abscent voters (there was a general election that year) The next electoral register is in 1920 - you can view them on line and search for addresses and individuals but you do need to subscribe to the site at: |

thank you both, Jean if you wouldn't mind looking this up for me when you go to the records office it would be a great help, not sure when I'll be able to get up to Birmingham myself, as now live in Bucks, many thanks, Helen |

Afraid I don't have access at the moment to eletral roll but will be visiting B'ham Records Office sometime soon so if no one has come up with an answer I will make a note & check it out fot you, I have a very old AtoZ which give Lancaster St on the junction with Corporation St, Loveday St & Steelhouse Lane, by which was then THe General Hospital now The Choldrens. |
