The christening on the IGI could be your Charles but based on the other births listed to the same couple on the IGI is more likely to the Charles and family listed below. |

In the 1881 cen it has him born Hazley but you say he could have been chrisened at kingsclere. And there is no rec of him near Hazley?. |

There were many other christenings with the same parents in the parish of Kingsclere so it look unlikely it is him. |

The thing is he may have been taken back to his mother's parish for the christening - this sometimes happened. |

Kingsclear is to far west . I just woundered if there is a rec of his birth in a parish rec for Hasley or Hecfield . |

This is the only christening I can find for that name in Hampshire on the IGI in 1828 +/- 5 years. |
