If you get your tree up and enter a name in the search boxes, does it take ages to load? For example, if you have 12 John Smith's, does it take time for the John Smith options to come up? Trying to work out if its this site or my PC. |

Thanks David. Maybe Genes would like to tell us exactly what we're paying for? Because my tree is no good to me on here. Any name I type in, I eventually get a message saying 'Your query is taking too long to complete.' Charming!! |

It has been happening to me and someone else on here that replied to my thread about it, try searching for the spouse, or parents or children of the person, it comes up for me. |

RomanyStar that is what I was thinking, what are we paying for??? that is the exact message I get coming up. But when I searched for someone on someone's tree it never worked so I searched for er husband, and it worked. It is the site, not your computer. Bilbo, I never knew about that emergency cover thing. There are a lot of thing I don't know, especially in family history! As I have a tree off tis site on my computer, it doesn't bother me that much, until I need to use this tree on here to work out connections with other people's trees! |

I've just had a message from a lady saying that she had lost access to my tree.......we've been in touch with each other for almost a year now and I've never closed my tree to her. My tree was open to her yesterday but sure enough when I looked tonight it had the "Access" box displayed. |

I think it is since they changed the website. |
