Can anyone enlighten me whether their would have been a register or similar for Musicians in the late 1800's. James Bonnington lived in London and was a cornet player, he married Louisa Doree on 22/04/1872 at St. James The Great Bethnal Green. The census 1901 - states lived at 18 Amest Street, Bethnal Green. 55 years old. It also states that he was born in NK. NK ? could this be Not Known.? He was born approximately 1851,although this census puts it approx 1846. Louisa and James had a daughter Rosina Bonnington born 1876 her marriage cert was dated 15.7.1900 Ref GO11162 (Poplar) |
